Post-doctoral Fellowships
The Media Security, Networking and Communications (MSyNC) Laboratory in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking applications for a postdoctoral fellowship position in the area of cryptography for wireless network security. The applicant is expected to have obtained (or be very close to obtaining) a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engg., Computer Science or related fields with a strong background in cryptography, wireless security. Knowledge of coding theory is a plus.
The initial appointment will be for one year starting immediately, with possible extension subject to performance and funding availability. Applicants can email their CV with a list of two references to Prof. K.P. Subbalakshmi (ksubbalaATstevens.edu).
Ph.D:
Several positions are open to qualified students with a strong mathematical background for pursuing a PhD degree with me. Students who have prior exposure to any of the following areas will be given priority:
- Error Control Coding
- Cryptography
- Image/Signal Processing/Coding
