Abstract:
This discussion will begin by
explaining Sun's recommended layered protection approach for increasing
security within a typical networked distributed computing environment.
Afterwards, the speaker will give an overview of what's new and what's cool
within the world of Security at Sun.

Aaron Kramer is a Security
Architect for Sun Microsystems, Inc., who holds both BSEE and MSEE degrees.
Aaron has also obtained the CISSP Security Certification from the International
Information Systems Security Consortium, Inc., (ISC)2. Aaron's role at Sun is
to deliver Sun's security technology and Sun's vision to the customer base.
Aaron communicates technology developments, product solutions and enhancements
from within Sun's security community out to the user community. In addition he
bridges the gaps between engineering and the user community by bringing issues,
discussions, and recommendations from the users back to Sun engineering.
