Performance analysis of low power wireless multimedia networks Multimedia networks is gaining importance with the advent of new computing and transmission technologies. Low bit rate compression standards like MPEG-4 have created various next generation applications. Supporting these applications over mobile battery power limited wireless networks is a challenge. This project deals with an
experimental analysis of battery power consumption of mobile
devices that transmit low bit rate video over wireless networks. Different
associated parameters such as reliability and real-time constraints will
also be investigated using OPNET simulator.
