This website is designed to outline and organize the progress of the group design, which is to redesign the Stevens Campus Network.

In it you will find our design proposal, weekly progress reports, our calendar of events to mark group meetings, meetings with TA's, meetings with advisors, date certain things are due, and other things to keep ourselves organized, and to allow our TA or advisor to check our progress at his or her convenience.

The reason we feel it is necessary to redesign the campus network is for many reasons including increasing speed, uptime, security, efficiency, etc. You can find most of this information in our proposal and a brief summary in the Mid Term Power Point Presentation.

Our original idea was to redesign the campus network, however for E421 purposes and for the SEED model, we have designed a consulting company in which businesses hire us to evaluate their current network (or design a network for those companies starting fresh), and using simulations and our expertise, design an optimized solution to their network.

We feel that this consulting company would be very useful, because as we see at Stevens, there are many problems with old network systems, and there are always ways to make it better, faster, and more secure, and every company wants to have the most efficient network, but needs people with the knowledge and experience to do so for them.

Please feel free to browse our website and ask questions or make suggestions. Thank you for visiting.
