- iNetS/U.S. Army Picatinny Program Review (January 29, 2008)
- The research program review was completed and thanks are due to all those who assisted in making this meeting a success.
Prof Victor Lawrence has served as a member of a expert team working with the government of South Africa to explore and define means for providing far higher data bandwidth between the sourthern area of Africa and other world locations. Many opportunities exist to address the issues raised by conditions under which network access is available to some but not to others.
- Mentor Graphics Microelectronics Software Donation
- Prof. Lawrence completed arrangements for the donation of the primary industry software tools for design of complex integrated circuits and complex microelectronics systems from Mentor Graphics Corp. The software is being managed by Prof. Haibo He. A Sun Cluster computer obtained earlier has been used to run this sophisticated software.
