Research Thrust 5: Looking at Information Across Network(s)

Thrusts 1 through 4 highlight the system components for the network of networks system. In addition to these components, there is also the (data) information that flows between end-nodes and information exchanged between network components & networks. Thrust 5 emphasizes embedded intelligence related to this information flowing.
