The instrumentation for audio testing is somewhat specialized to this application and is generally limited to modest frequencies (audio frequencies). Additional manuals will be added as they are located.
HP Model 8903 Audio Analyzer:
- The HP 8903 analyzer is an older instrument but well qualified to perform a variety of measurements on audio signals. The Users Manual describes the HP 8903 as follows.
- The HP Model 8903 Audio Analyzer is a complete audio measurement system covering the frequency range of 20 Hz to 100 kHz. It combines a low-distortion signal source with a signal analyzer. The analyzer cam perform distortion analysis, frequency count, and ad level, dc level, SINAD, and signal-to-noise measurements.
